Slow Cooker BBQ Chicken

Last night I wanted to make something easy for just Kevin and I. I threw some chicken breasts in the crockpot and decided to make super easy shredded barbecue chicken sandwiches. The original recipe can be found HERE and there are only six ingredients!   Ingredients: 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts 1.5 cups of bbq sauce 2 tsp onion powder 1 tbsp olive oil 1 tbsp worcestershire sauce 2 tbsp brown sugar Directions: Combine all ingredients together in a crockpot. Set on high for 5 hours.  Shred chicken and cook for another 30 minutes. Place on toasted bread and add more barbecue sauce if needed. Enjoy!

Crockpot BBQ Chicken

Do you guys ever cook a meal and then realize you want something else? I cooked this crockpot BBQ chicken tonight and told Kevin he could have it because I wanted the leftover Taco WonTons haha! This chicken recipe was SO easy though. I combined two recipes together - one for the barbecue chicken and one for a homemade chili seasoning . It's raining today, and of course we are in the quarantine, so this is such a perfect recipe to put together in the afternoon and have ready for dinner. Perfect with rice too! Ingredients: 1.5 cups of BBQ Sauce 1 Package of chili seasoning mix or make your own in the link above 4 bone-in chicken thighs Directions: Mix BBQ sauce and seasoning mix together in a crockpot. Add chicken and cook on high for 4 hours. Enjoy with white rice. See, super easy!

If you are in need of a really *easy* and *quick* BBQ Shredded Chicken recipe, you have come to the right place. This was seriously so easy and I was able to get work done while letting it cook in the crockpot. I did add wing sauce to make it a little spicier but you can switch out ingredients based on your taste. If you try this recipe (this one is completely original), please let me know in the comments below! I would love to hear if you changed anything or how you liked this recipe. Ingredients: Sesame buns (we used the BBQ hamburger ones) 4 boneless skinless chicken fillets 1 cup BBQ sauce 1/2 cup Wing Sauce 1/3 cup brown sugar 1/2 cup ketchup Directions: Place chicken breast in a crockpot. Pour BBQ sauce over them. In a bowl, whisk together the wing sauce, brown sugar, and ketchup. Pour over the chicken breast. Cook on high for 3 hours. Use two forks to shred chicken. Butter the sesame buns. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Cook sesame buns at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes.
