Last night we had breakfast for dinner - definitely one of my favorite dinners that I will never get sick of. Who is with me on that one? I used the Food Network's French Toast Recipe and followed it step-by-step, didn't change a thing and would rate this a 10/10. Normally I change or adjust things in the recipe to make them my own but this one I just left as-is and had to share! Below is the full recipe: Ingredients: 1 tsp cinnamon 1/4 tsp ground nutmeg 2 tbsp sugar 4 tbsp butter 4 eggs 1/4 cup milk 1/2 tsp vanilla 8 pieces of white bread 1/2 cup sugar-free maple syrup Directions: In a small bowl, combine cinnamon, nutmeg and sugar and set aside.  In a skillet on the stove, melt butter over medium heat. In the meantime, whisk together the cinnamon combination, eggs, milk, and vanilla and pour into a pie plate or large bowl.  Dip bread in egg mixture and fry on the stove until golden brown. Flip and cook the other side. I would say 1-2 minutes per side. Serve with syrup. If you

This French Toast recipe from Food Network was the perfect Easter morning breakfast! The link to their recipe can be found HERE . My measurements were a little bit different and I used regular white bread. In place of sugar, I always add monkfruit since it's approved on the Keto diet. Ingredients: 1 tsp cinnamon 1/2 tsp ground nutmeg 2 tbsp monkfruit 4 tbsp butter 4 eggs 1/4 cup milk 1 tsp vanilla 8 slices of white bread 1/2 cup sugar-free syrup Directions: In a small bowl whisk together cinnamon, nutmeg and monkfruit and set aside. In a skillet, melt butter over medium heat. In another skillet or bowl, mix together the cinnamon mixture, eggs, milk and vanilla. Dip bread in egg mixture (both sides) and by now the butter should be melted. Set bread on the buttered skillet for 1-2 minutes, or until golden brown. Flip over for another minute or two. Add to a plate and serve with sugar-free syrup. If you want a Homemade Baked French Toast Recipe, you can fi

I don't think I have ever baked french toast before but there is a first for everything. I really enjoyed them with some sugar-free syrup. The original recipe can be found HERE . I used regular bread instead of a loaf of Italian bread and used Monkfruit instead of sugar. Enjoy! Ingredients: 8 pieces of white bread 5 eggs 1 1/4 cup whole milk 1/2 cup Monkfruit 2 Tbsp cinnamon 1 tsp vanilla 4 Tbsp butter, melted For topping: Powdered sugar Sugar free syrup Directions: Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a loaf pan. Place 4 pieces of bread one-behind-another and do that on both sides of the loaf pan. In a large bowl, mix the eggs and milk to combine. In a separate bowl, whisk the sugar and cinnamon together and add it to the eggs. Stir in the vanilla. Slowly pour over the bread - I made sure each sli
