Bacon and Baked Potato Soup

Did you know that my "food blogging" started because of a Potato Soup recipe back in 2018? My first food blog EVER was an easy potato soup recipe which now has 239,815 views:  https://abbielynn02.blogspot.com/2018/10/easy-potato-soup-in-crockpot.html I have made some potato soup recipes since then, but I have to say, this one I made a few nights ago takes the cake. This is a recipe from NW Kidney so it's a healthier version - although it's a longer version. It was so good and it will definitely be in the monthly recipe lineup.  Ingredients: 5 medium sized potatoes  1/3 cup flour 4 cups milk 1/2 tsp pepper 4oz reduced fat monterey jack cheese or parmesan 5 bacon strips, cooked and crumbled (not part of the original recipe) Directions: Poke holes in the bake potatoes with a fork. Easy Crockpot Baked Potato Soup

I love potato soup, and pretty much anything that goes in the crockpot, because both Kevin and I work full-time and Jace is at school and an after school program until 5 or so. Because I work from home, crockpot recipes are super easy and convenient.  I have made baked potato soup recipes before and, in fact, my first food blog ever was a potato soup recipe and, to this day, is my most read food blog post. The last two I have made had required me to put the potatoes in a blender and both turned it more into a runny soup. I have to say though, even though it was an actual soup without chunky potatoes, it was really creamy and full of flavor. You can blend the potatoes to make them as creamy as you would like!
