This perfect slow cooker roast on a rainy and chilly day

Image
I went to Target yesterday and purchased a roast since it's been awhile. Little did I know that it would be raining all day so the slow cooker roast worked out perfectly in my favor. Plus it was SUPER easy to make. The only thing that I dislike about Target meat is the fact that I tend to either buy already expired meat or meat that has A LOT of fat on it. Unfortunately, this roast did have a lot of fat on it so I think I only ended up with a pound and a half of meat. The original recipe called for two to two and a half pounds of meat. Still was enough for the three of us to enjoy :) Here is the original recipe:  https://cleanfoodcrush.com/slow-cooker-roast-beef-clean-eating/?fbclid=IwAR368fsHyZ_t9SiwdKx5YAsBtjmw3oj0gM8SKvebj7d_0XRMjyJRdPf95Js Ingredients: 1.5 pound Beef roast Onion powder (as much as you would like) Two big potatoes, cut up into pieces 2 cups Chicken Broth 1 Tbsp Worcestershire Sauce Paprika (as much as you would like) Pepper Directi

How to Save Money on Christmas - Deals, Savings, Specials, Cheap Gifts

The best way to save money during Christmas is to not spend money. Unfortunately, that is inevitable. So if you have to spend money, why not spend as little as possible? This blog was not created on how to get items for free, but where to shop for deals and discounts. This blog was mainly created because I only have a part-time job living in California and my goal has been to find ways to save money over Christmas. I look for deals year-round but below is a list of what I have purchased or what I recommend for Christmas. Keep in mind that most deals go fast just because they are either temporary deals or Black Friday specials. The first one that I'm about to talk about is an example of that. Jace has been talking about a scooter for the past few months. Well, I finally found one for a great deal! On Instagram, I follow @ilikedeals_net and they shared a scooter on Amazon for $18 which is a price drop from $30! I purchased it two days ago and went on today and it is unavailable so

Trouble in Paradise - What to do if you are Unemployed

Fifteen months ago I decided to take a huge risk and jump into a sudden move to California. I knew what to expect before moving here: High rent, high housing, high gas prices, expensive food, expensive drinks, but at that point in time, and still to this day, the rewards outweigh the risks. Moving from Utah to California I have experienced a new dynamic, a different social atmosphere, a paradise, amazing and fresh olive oil, wine, wine tasting, amazing views, cuisine, fresh food, rolling hills, cooler weather and stunning sunsets. But fifteen months later, here I am. Unemployed. Again. I knew finding a job would be hard but I didn't realize that keeping a job would be harder. Utah's job force was extremely opposite of what I have experienced thus far. I had a job for six and a half years, another for three and a half years. Since moving here, I had a job for ten months, was unemployed for two months, was employed for two more months and, as of today, unemployed. So it's b
