I went to Target yesterday and purchased a roast since it's been awhile. Little did I know that it would be raining all day so the slow cooker roast worked out perfectly in my favor. Plus it was SUPER easy to make. The only thing that I dislike about Target meat is the fact that I tend to either buy already expired meat or meat that has A LOT of fat on it. Unfortunately, this roast did have a lot of fat on it so I think I only ended up with a pound and a half of meat. The original recipe called for two to two and a half pounds of meat. The best way to save money during Christmas is to not spend money. Unfortunately, that is inevitable. So if you have to spend money, why not spend as little as possible? Fifteen months ago I decided to take a huge risk and jump into a sudden move to California. I knew what to expect before moving here: High rent, high housing, high gas prices, expensive food, expensive drinks, but at that point in time, and still to this day, the rewards outweigh the risks.
