How to Make the Best Pot Roast

Image
Pot Roasts are a super easy meal that you can eat throughout the year. I didn't even realize how many previous blog posts I have made of pot roast until I went to write this one. This recipe that I'm about to share is very simple and all of the flavors come through - you have a ranch and Italian seasoning packet so you can taste the seasoning flavors and then you have a gravy packet which comes through in the thickness and juiciness and then the pot roast itself is so tender and it just falls apart in your mouth. I did add garlic powder, pepper, and onion powder as well as carrots and potatoes. The veggies were a nice addition as they were soft and worked well with the pot roast.  Here are the previous pot roast recipes I have made if you wanted to try different recipes. All of these have different ingredients and they are unique in their own way: The Perfect Slow Cooker Roast on a Rainy and Chilly Day Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast with Vegetables  Crockpot Beef Pot Roast Easy Pot

Hi guys. It's been awhile since I've written a food blog and I have a good explanation. Everything that I have made lately has either been a blog post already or it's something like breakfast, BBQ, or pizza. I wasn't actually going to write a blog about this chuck roast that I made last night except it ended up being really good and then I realized that I haven't shared this recipe before. Forgive me as I only took ONE photo of my entire meal because I didn't plan on sharing. I didn't even get a photo of the food on my plate because by the time I thought about it, my plate was cleared! So, you have one photo but I am telling you this was so delicious! I have made so many pot roast recipes, click the link below if you are looking to try out some new and different ones: Easy Slow Cooker Pot Roast with Vegetables Crockpot Beef Pot Roast Easy Pot Roast with Carrots Tri-Tip Chuck Roast with Potatoes and Carrots Pot Roast with Potatoes and Carrots Anyways, on to t

Tonight for dinner we had beef roast in the crockpot. I ordered Instacart yesterday and the driver/shopper told me a few startling things: 1. Smart and Final only allowed one person in the store at a time 2. You could only purchase two 6-pack of waters 3. You could only purchase two types of meat (and they were out of ground turkey and ground beef) I had him pick up a beef roast and a tri-tip to hold us over. But what a world we live in at the moment! Unfortunately both times I made trips to the grocery store, they were out of potatoes so this roast was without potatoes and onions. I replaced the onions with onion and garlic powder. I also used an 8oz container of beef broth instead of 1/2 cup. Super easy and delicious with toast! The original recipe was from YUMMLY here . Ingredients: 3-4lb chuck pot roast Salt Pepper 20 mini carrots, cut in half 2 Tbsp onion powder 2 Tbsp garlic powder 8oz beef broth Directions: Place half of the carrots (10 mini carrots cut in

Guys, what a week, am I right?! For it being a short week and for me having a 3-day weekend, it has still been insane. Monday we took Jace to the instacare for his cough that unfortunately got worse overnight. We also found out he had an ear infection so he stayed home with me on Tuesday. Wednesday was a 13 hour day for me plus Kevin's birthday so I tried to make it as special as possible with great ideas from my Facebook friends :) Today was a 5.5 hour day and then I had to go to the hospital for a diagnostic to see if I have sleep apnea (pft with post bronchodilator spirometry). They did some breathing tests which were so hard for me to "pass" at times. They also gave me this medicine to see if my throat would enlarge to see if I have anything wrong. They mixed it with air and I breathed it in. It was so odd but, on the plus side, nothing seems wrong with my lungs or breathing :) Now to just figure out why I woke up twice in the past five months and not being able to
