Another day, another chicken recipe. I used to be so picky about chicken but it seems like that's all we eat now. This recipe is for Baked Sesame Chicken Bites, initially from Clean Food Crush and can be found HERE . We switched out gluten free flour to regular flour and eliminated salt as we don't use salt often. Ingredients for the chicken: 1 pound chicken breast cut into cubes Ground pepper to taste 1/4 cup flour 3 eggs 1 cup parmesan cheese 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp garlic powder 1/4 cup Sesame seeds (if you would like) Ingredients for the sauce: 1/2 cup coconut aminos 2 tbsp rice vinegar 1/4 cup honey 1 tbsp sesame oil 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes 1 tbsp cornstarch 2 tbsp water Directions: Preheat oven to 375 and spray a large cookie sheet with PAM or cooking spray. Season chicken with pepper. Place chicken in a large bowl and add the flour and toss to coat chicken. Shake off excess. Crispy Honey Sesame Chicken recipe

I have a few great recipes for you guys coming up and I'm so excited to share them. These past two weeks Kevin and I did a competition of who can lose the most weight. I think he has lost four pounds and I've gained one. I was at my lowest weight in awhile a few days ago but tomorrow is the day when it counts. Also, since work has been super busy this week, we had a cheat day today of pizza so I'm sure that won't help. Earlier this week though we had a few really good meals including this Crispy Honey Sesame Chicken recipe.  This recipe for chicken reminded me a lot of the Korean Fried Chicken that I made the other night. Both are fried and have some of the same ingredients. The Crispy Honey Sesame Chicken recipe was taken from HERE and our version is below. Ingredients for the Chicken: 2 large boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into 1-inch cubes 2 eggs beaten 1/2 cup flour 1/4 cup cornstarch 10oz canola oil for frying Ingredients for the Sauce: 1/3 cup honey 1/4

Sesame Chicken in the Air Fryer

Image
Last night I made this Sesame Chicken in the Air Fryer. To be honest, I think I overcooked it but Jace liked it and he is the type that will straight up say something if he doesn't like it. The time and cooking temperate I followed to a "T" in this recipe HERE  (and below). I did have four chicken breasts in the air fryer compared to the two that she used so that could be a big reason as well. Ingredients: - 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts - 4 tbsp sesame oil - 1 tsp salt - 1/2 tsp pepper - 1/4 tsp cayenne pepper - 1 tbsp roasted garlic powder - 1 tbsp onion powder Directions: Rub the chicken breasts with sesame oil followed by all seasonings. Rub gently to ensure even coverage. Place chicken breasts in the air fryer and heat at 380F for 20 minutes. When the time is up, flip the chicken breasts and cook for 10 more minutes. I have the Emeril Air Fryer so times can vary. Serve with your choice of vegetables or toast if you would like. L
