Creamy Applesauce Dream

This apple dessert recipe is from Noom and I made it exactly like the recipe called for (except I added one scoop of ice cream instead of greek yogurt). So delicious and would definitely make again!

Ingredients:
4 medium apples, peeled, cored and quartered
1/4 cup orange juice
2 tsp vanilla extract
2 tsp cinnamon
1/4 cup greek yogurt (optional, or splurge like I did and do a scoop of ice cream)

Directions:
In a large pot, combine the apples, orange juice, vanilla and cinnamon. Cover and simmer for 30 minutes or until the apples are tender, stirring occasionally. Mash the apples with a fork or potato masher until smooth. Top each with yogurt or ice cream.

You can make this as a snack, dessert, or in-between meals. If you keep track of your calories in Noom, the apples and yogurt are both considered Green, the Orange Juice is a Yellow, and the toppings are considered Orange so it truly is the definition of balance by Noom's terminology.
