20 Minute Juicy Oven Baked Chicken Breast Recipe - Super Easy
On a scale of 1-Easy, this is probably one of the easiest chicken recipes I have made (besides the crockpot recipes that you just leave in until it's done). This one does have a few steps to it but you will probably have all of the seasonings in your pantry and the chicken was done in 20 minutes. This recipe originally was from HERE and our version is below. When I say this is juicy chicken, it *really* was! And after it was cooked, I took some of the sauce in the pan and poured over the chicken and it made it even better. We also added asparagus and white rice as sides.
Ingredients:
2 boneless, skinless chicken breast
olive oil
3 tbsp brown sugar
1 tbsp chili powder
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp pepper
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp onion powder
1/2 tsp cumin
Directions:
Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Spray a baking sheet with PAM. Place the chicken breasts on a flat surface and use a rolling pin to make them flat. Drizzle both sides with olive oil. In a bowl, combine seasonings and sprinkle over chicken.
Bake for 20 minutes. Remove from oven and wait 5 minutes before slicing. If you want to add Asparagus, I did provide an Asparagus recipe in one of my latest blogs HERE. With 12 minutes left to the chicken, you can place your Asparagus in the oven at the same time and let it stay in there until both are done. They both use the same temperature of 425.
